Effective: April 2026 · Boomerang Pass™
Who can use Boomerang Pass
Boomerang Pass is licensed to schools and school districts. Individual teachers, students, and families use the service under their school's license. By accessing Boomerang Pass on behalf of a school, you agree to use it only for legitimate school operations.
Acceptable use
- Use Boomerang Pass to manage hallway passes inside your school.
- Do not attempt to access records outside your assigned role.
- Do not upload data unrelated to pass operations.
- Do not redistribute the software or its content outside your district.
Accounts
Accounts are provisioned by the district and tied to district SSO where available. Sharing credentials is prohibited. Suspected misuse should be reported to the district administrator and to drew@boomerangclassroom.com.
Service availability
Boomerang Pass aims for high availability during school hours. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside instructional time when possible. Boomerang Pass is provided "as is"; districts are responsible for backup paper procedures during any outage.
Intellectual property
The Boomerang Pass name, logo, banner artwork, and software are owned by Boomerang Pass™. Districts receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for the duration of the agreement.
Termination
Either party may terminate per the signed agreement. Upon termination, district data is exported and then deleted within 30 days unless retention is otherwise required by law.
Changes
We will notify districts in writing before any material change to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
